Ever wonder why you had a particular dream and what it was really trying to tell you? We all have dreams some of us are blessed to recall them easily, while others don’t remember even having them. Dreams are a subconscious way of communicating to us, and the symbols within them are uniquely significant. Below are the most commonly experienced symbols and what each of them can represent:
*Water represents feelings and emotions, positive or negative. Is the water in your dream in the form of a raging ocean with choppy waters? If so, this is an indication of emotional turmoil. Are the waters calm? Good news, this usually is a sign of being in a peaceful state.
* Death is another very common dream which can indicate a fear of being hurt or a change coming in your life. This is a largely misunderstood dream because many fear it represents a literal physical death.
*Falling in a dream can indicate not feeling supported in your life and can happen often when you are overwhelmed. Myths have risen that if you hit the ground in your dream you will die, well we all die at some point but having this dream I assure you won’t mean that you are close to your own demise.
*Flying can symbolize rising above situations or circumstances in your life.
*Transportation such as planes, boats, or buses can be indicative of missing out on something important in your life and often occur when facing deadlines.
*Nudity-we’ve all had or heard of this horrific dream- you’re in front of a crowd and suddenly realize you are completely nude! This dream is to be interpreted literally as it conveys a feeling of over-exposure or vulnerability.
These are just a few of thousands of dreams people have. There are very good dream dictionaries online to help you decipher what your dreams are truly trying to tell you about your current life. If you do not recall your dreams and would like to be better at it keep a notepad and pencil on your nightstand, this way upon wakening jot down what you do recall. Only you can be the one to decide what the dream truly defines so be sure to pay attention to what you think it means and remember keep the symbolism simple in helping to unlock the meanings.

Feng Shui Spring Cleaning

Have you ever noticed how amazing and wonderful it feels when you spring clean a room? Ever ask yourself why? Spring is in the air and it is time to get into action and begin the process of spring cleaning. In Feng Shui clutter is the enemy.
Feng Shui is about the flow of energy inside your home. If your home has clutter this creates stagnation in your life and can affect many areas for instance, your health, love life and finances to name a few. Picture a river and it flowing smoothly but there is a large rock which does not allow the river to flow freely. This is an example of how clutter can create blockages in your life.
When clearing the clutter here are a few Feng Shui principals. Donate anything you don’t need or use regularly to charity, or give it to someone who can use it. If it is broken get rid of it. Objects that bring a great deal of joy into your life are the one exception to this rule. Items that you use every day should always be stored neatly in their designated area. Pay special attention to your home’s entryway, since it’s important to create a good flow of incoming positive energy.
Begin wherever you feel like it –this could be a closet or maybe you bathroom vanity and begin with one room at a time. Also support your energy with good Feng Shui energy props like fresh flowers, a favorite scent, candle or lively music all of these help to invite good chi/energy into your home. Open windows and doors to your home to allow the fresh air in and new vital chi.
You should also place healthy living plants in your home for growth and vitality. Also keep your windows clean as they represent opportunities. So when spring cleaning this year don’t think of it as such a huge chore, remind yourself that your clearing your life of old, negative energy and inviting the new positive energy into your home and life. When you sit back at the end and admire your accomplishment remember your also feng shuing your home!

Mercury Retrograde

Mercury is the smallest and closet planet to the sun. It governs communication and travel and is also known as the Winged Messenger. Mercury travels around the Sun approximately every 88 days. Once Mercury makes a complete revolution around the sun it begins retrograde motion for 21 days. Mercury makes this journey three times a year. When Mercury is travelling around the sun things are running pretty normal and smoothly. When Mercury is in retrograde motion it is the opposite influence becoming the planet of miscommunication and accidents. Retrograde motion is similar to when you are driving along and see a car beside you but the rims seem to be moving backward in motion and yet the car is moving forward. Murphy’s Law what can go wrong will go wrong. It is advisable to postpone anything of importance during this period. Not the best time to start a new job, sign important papers, purchase a car, computer, or cell phone. Best to go on vacation but expect delays. It is a time to also revise, review and revisit past events. People we have not seen in ages can now pop back up in our lives. Be sure to use caution while paying bills and balancing checkbooks as to not make costly errors. Back up your computer as well! We need to think before we speak, watch our words, and pay attention to what we thought we heard otherwise fighting and arguments can break out without warning. Being that Mercury also governs travel watch out for traffic accidents. Slow down get out of the fast lane and take your time to avoid accidents. To offset Mercury’s mayhem take it slow and easy. Mercury’s influence affects everyone but two astrological signs most impacted are Gemini and Virgo because they are ruled by this planet.
